The PAST Foundation is inviting you to view a pilot of our Hybrid Teaching and Learning model. Currently this model is utilized in rural South Dakota, but includes in-person and virtual teachers from both South Dakota and Columbus, Ohio. This class is an example of the PAST Foundation's Transdisciplinary Problem-Based Learning (TPBL) framework to provide a holistic approach to classroom instruction. Our program includes science, humanities and mathematics content experts. Students engage in an authentic problem through a variety of projects and completion of products to master content in multiple subjects. We invite you observe our model in action, comment, ask questions, and collaborate with us!
Project/event directions for participation:
Please join the Zoom link posted above. We will have a 5-10 minute Q&A session, and then provide an opportunity for participants to view our Hybrid Classroom! We will then reconvene to provide space to ask additional questions and facilitate collaboration.
