Julie Lindsay is undertaking this research project as part of a Doctor of Education degree through the University of Southern Queensland, Australia. The purpose of this research is to document and analyse the experiences of K-12 educators who are implementing online global collaboration and to describe pedagogical approaches that may be influencing pedagogical change. Online global collaboration broadly refers to educators using digital technologies to connect students with others beyond their immediate learning environment for collaborative outcomes. Online technologies provide new ways of connecting and collaborating with others and it is educators’ beliefs about and practices with the use of educational technology that will be explored to analyse how these influence their engagement with online global collaboration.
Project/event directions for participation:
Educators who teach K-12 levels from across the world who are implementing online global collaboration are invited to complete this online survey. Access one of the URLs as a starting point - this will lead you to the online survey. Completion of this survey will take approximately 30-40 minutes (if all parts are completed). The survey is in three parts: - Part A: Demographic information - Part B: Online learning and online global collaboration information - Part C: Interest in participating in further research and further questions for 'Phase 2: Case Study' eligibility (optional)

This online survey is a very important part of Julie's research design for her EdD. It is hoped educators will contribute from different parts of the world to help support better understanding of practices, attitudes and skills to do with online global collaboration in K-12 education. Thank you in advance for your willingness to take part.
