We'll share a bit about our award-winning project "Why learn a second language", in which students searched about great APPS for learning languages. You'll learn about these apps and possibly share about your favorite apps too. By the end of this videoconference, you'll have the chance to develop an app from scratch, which is a great to learn a new language and coding.

Some of our students will take a trip to South Africa in May/18. On GCD, we want to talk about countries in Africa and play games/quizzes about it. We will have an interview with an expert from Africa and play a Kahoot quiz about it. We will also take a look at some volunteer work students can possibly engage, either online or when they visit Africa.

Join students from Colorado and Brazil talk about life as a teenager in their area. Feel free to join with your students or by yourself to talk about teenagers' lives in your area too. What is the best advice you could give to a teenager growing up in your culture? What is it like to be a teenager in your society? What is the difference between the teenagers of 20th century and the teenagers of the 21st century? What do you think are some of the greatest problems facing teenagers today? These are some of the issues we can address in this videoconference.
