Some of the potential for EdTech to radically transform personalized learning in formal classrooms has been recognized, but how can it be applied offline and in other settings? Blended learning is rapidly expanding beyond connected classrooms and we’re supporting out-of-school learners globally to realize their right to education. This session explores personalized learning outside connected classrooms and considers how the design of an offline educational platform can influence learning outcomes.
Project/event directions for participation:
This session will first provide background history on Learning Equality’s mission and growth leading up to the upcoming release of our new platform, Kolibri (https://learningequality.org/kolibri/). During the second part of the hour, participants will see a demonstration of the platform to better understand how it can be applied in various learning settings. At the end of the session, all are welcome to continue exploring the Kolibri demo site at https://kolibridemo.learningequality.org/. In order to get the most of our hour together, participants are also encouraged to spend a few minutes perusing the Learning Equality website (learningequality.org) prior to the session.
