During this event, you will have the chance to learn more about Youth For Understanding’s virtual exchange program, “The Third Space Semester” and participate in a collaborative project to better understand how our online curriculum works in action.
The fall semester program runs from September 24th through December 17th and we are accepting applications for students (aged 14 - 35) to join through the rest of the week. Students may be invited to participate individually or as a part of a class.

With partners in 56 countries, Youth For Understanding (YFU) brings 67 years of experience in international education and exchange. YFU programs engage learners of all ages to build leadership and cross-cultural skills, while strengthening international understanding and public diplomacy. YFU programs were founded on a homestay model for teenagers and has since expanded to included programs such as virtual exchange to engage underrepresented youth who have little or no access to physical exchange, and also have much to contribute to intercultural dialogue.
