Title of event/project: Idioms – When language and Culture hit it off
Participants should go to this link to start the project. URL to project/event starting point: https://zoom.us/j/830528454
We would like to talk with people and schools in other countries and learn about idioms. According to Cambridge School Dictionary, IDIOM is a group of words used together with a meaning that you cannot guess from the meanings of the separate words. We’ll take a look at some challenges automatic translation tools face with such idioms. Therefore, in this videoconference, we will have fun sharing some of our language idioms and meanings.
