In this asynchronous collaborative short term project and debate, my students and their families ,as well as global guests will be expressing themselves through a collaborative Zeetings session with a Google Slides presentation among many other embeds. We will reflect on the importance of understanding global issues as a way of directing our personal and professional projects based on collaboration, tolerance, mutual respect and protection.
We chose a global issue that somehow affects us all beyond time zones and geographical coordinates: Fake News in all its forms due to multifactorial causes and constituting a real concern for the world .We will concentrate on causes and consequences as well as sustainable ways to avoid it and decode it as content and media prosumers living in the connected global village.
