URL to project/event starting point: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ASdNlKlwTyF89iUVESmy_VvHC_UJcw7rJC2EYYGcObU/edit?usp=sharing Project/event description: Using the Climate Action, Affordable and Clean Energy, Clean Water & Sanitation, Life Below Water, Life on Land Global Goals for Sustainable Development, students from different countries are invited to share which environmental issue(s) are the most prevalent in their communities and how their community is addressing these issue(s).Students are asked to submit their videos in their home language, preferably in Chinese, English, French, Italian, or Spanish. Students and teachers will have an opportunity to collect data from the different video submissions to later, host a live discussion with our school in New Jersey to propose solutions and promote sustainability across our countries. Project/event directions for participation: Teachers should access the shared Google Document and ask students to submit their video through the Padlet link in their home language, preferably in Chinese, English, French, Italian, or Spanish. We would like to collaborate with our New Jersey Science/World Language students with students across the globe. Teachers should independently discuss the different environmental concerns raised and brainstorm solutions. Then, teachers should coordinate an appropriate time to connect with our classrooms in New Jersey (EST) to connect our students and discuss solutions collectively in one of the target languages. Ideally, this can begin our global connectivity and we can continue to host discussions together in the future.
